Meme Industries
Launch a token

How it works

The launch mechanism you pick runs a token's market; Meme Industries splits its fees, and holders decide what they fund. Four steps, from launch to holder vote.

  1. Launch engineToken creation, trading and liquidity. Chosen per token from four launch mechanisms.
  2. Meme IndustriesFee allocation, the War Chest, holder governance and analytics, on the same contracts for every token. The platform fee is 20% of the total fee.
  3. Capital deploymentHolders vote on what the War Chest funds. Only an executed vote can move it.
01

Launch

Create a token and configure its trading fees. One transaction through the launch mechanism you pick creates the token, its locked market, its War Chest and its governance. Nobody approves it, and naming an objective is optional.

02

Trade

Trading generates fees according to the token’s fee structure. Its creator chose the fees within what its launch mechanism allows (a buy fee and a sell fee, or on Uniswap one fee for both) and how each fee splits between the War Chest, the creator, the platform fee and, on the Meme Industries mechanism, the pool. The platform fee is 20% of the fee, never of the trade. The War Chest holds the quote asset, USDG or WETH. The example below uses the Meme Industries mechanism.

03

War Chest

Allocated fees accumulate in a holder-governed War Chest. Only the War Chest’s share of each fee lands here, at least 40% on the Meme Industries mechanism. Nobody can withdraw it, not the creator and not Meme Industries. Only an executed holder vote moves it, and stewards act only within that vote’s bounds.

04

Holder vote

Holders decide how the War Chest is deployed. They stake to propose and vote. Once a vote passes, anyone can execute it, once, exactly as written; if nobody does within 30 days, it expires. A passed vote does only what the contracts can do.

Onchain today
Set the target, reserve capital, buy an onchain asset through an escrow that pays only when the asset arrives, release a reservation, elect or remove stewards, replace or deactivate the creator, adopt a policy document.
Needs someone offchain
Paying a school, covering an AI agent’s costs, donating to a charity, running a business. Holders can vote on the intent and set it as the target; the contracts have no direct payout for it today.
Governance rules

No holder vote has been decided yet. When one is, it appears here and on Decisions.

Meme Industries is non-custodial software. Holders hold their own tokens, and a War Chest moves only through an executed holder vote; Meme Industries never holds your funds and does not endorse any token. Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice. Trading tokens is risky and you can lose what you put in.
